The Paris Walk for Life website has an English language page this year. Their walk is next Sunday, January 17. The date is based on the anniversary of the French law legalizing abortion, and that annual pro-life walk now attracts people from all over Europe. I did that walk last year and really enjoyed it. The weather forecast as of now suggests they may have rain or snow that day, so keep them in your prayers in the coming week.
This year, I am planning to walk in the West Coast Walk for Life on Saturday, January 23. I'll try to post some pictures or maybe blog the walk by mobile phone that day. We'll see what works.
The Washington D.C. March for Life is always on January 22, which falls on a Friday this year. Their website has a page where you can download the agenda.
This year's U.S. walks are especially important because of the ongoing Congressional attention to abortion funding in the Senate health care bill. If you can get to Washington or San Francisco, please consider participating this year. If you will be in Europe, try to get to Paris next Sunday.
