Pope Benedict XVI and the 2006 Schülerkreis
The Benedict Blog, on the Pope Benedict Fan Club site, now includes the Pope Benedict Round-Up posts that Christopher Blosser has done for so long on his blog Against the Grain. A new entry posted yesterday includes a collection of articles about this week-end's "Schülerkreis" of the Holy Father and his former doctoral students, which this year considered evolution and intelligent design, as well as articles about the Middle East, liturgical music, and further commentary on Deus Caritas Est.
Insight Scoop has had posts from day to day lately discussing various news articles about the Schülerkreis, as well as this post by Mark Brumley addressing some of the misconceptions that have shown up in a few of the news articles. Among those posts is also this about a Reuters article, on the ABC News website, quoting Ignatius editor Father Joseph Fessio and stating that the Pope and his students plan to publish the proceedings of their week-end gathering. Ignatius Press also has assembled a collection of articles on intelligent design on a page titled Intelligent Project.
